  Went to test an A class for my wife, sales person, Diana was excellent, wife liked the car so asked them to put a package together. My car has a trade value of around £11500 so was expecting something in this region ( BMW dealer offered me £11500 then two days later increased this to £12000 ) but when presented with the figures they valued my car at £8250 !!!! When I said the deal was a non starter for the above reason my car increased in value to £10500. I appreciate that they need to make a profit but these tactics left a bitter taste and cost them a virtually guarenteed sale, think the dealer principal needs to rethink his sales tactics.
